🌿 Calming Your Nervous System During Intense Times

Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or extra emotional lately?

It’s been quite a week. For many of us, our nervous systems have been working overtime. We’ve experienced several solar flares recently—some of them quite powerful—and this heightened energy can be felt deeply on a physical, emotional, and energetic level.

In the bigger picture, this influx of energy is supporting an upgrade—inviting us into higher awareness and expanded consciousness so we can show up as our best selves while navigating our very human lives.


For now, please remember: this too shall pass.And gently remind yourself often, “I’ve got this.”

You may notice old emotions or unresolved trauma rising to the surface. Feelings of fragility, headaches, digestive upsets, or general emotional sensitivity can all be part of this process. If this resonates, take a slow breath—you’re not alone, and again… this too shall pass.


Here are some gentle ways to support and soothe your nervous system right now:

Ground – Place your bare feet on Mother Earth. Let her hold you.✨ Breathe – Try the breathing technique shared here, or a simple 4 x 4 rhythm.✨ Sage – Using sage or incense, gently waft the smoke around yourself with the intention of clearing your energy. I also encourage you to walk the perimeter of your home.✨ Eye Cupping – If this is new to you, I recommend searching it on YouTube. It’s deeply calming for the nervous system and supportive of eye health.✨ Chamomile & Herbal Teas – Consider swapping caffeine for something soothing for now.✨ Connection – Spend time with people who make you smile, lift you up, and inspire uplifting conversations.
