Meditation acts like a reset button. It clears away the stress, tension and busy thoughts, leaving you with a fresh mind ready to embrace life again. I would recommend meditating every day, even a five minute focus on your breathing can work wonders.
I find that when I make room for meditation first thing in the morning, it seems to set a calm and organised tone to my day, as I put my thoughts and energy into focus, so too my intentions for balance in my day are reset. Give it a try and see what a difference it makes !
It reminds me of the saying 'if you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there'. An overactive mind acts like this, giving conflicting and confusing messages to your energy and all of your spiritual team.
